Joe was one of our all time greatest. He was a 4 time Class B Champion, 3rd in NYS as a sophomore and as a senior and won the 2004 Junior Greco Roman National Championship as a senior. Joe is now attending University of Boston and wrestling under Carl Adams. Joe has enjoyed a very successful sophomore season and ended the year with a forth place finish at the CAA national qualifier. Great season Joe !!
Our 24th Annual Mat Rat Tournament was a huge success in terms of the comments made by coaches and athletes as they exited the building. After further review it turned out to be a very good fund-raiser as well. Thanks to all those QFA members that participated. Next year will be the 25 anniversary !
Its that time of year again when people are talking about clubs and camps. If you are serious about wrestling and want to be successful in this sport then you should become a member of ATWA or Journeymen. Journeymen is a new club in our area and appears to be doing very well. To our benefit, it looks like there will be a northern location at South Glens Falls. Also to our benefit, ATWA will be located right here in the Queesnbury wrestling room. What an awsome opprotunity. In past years we have had families travel all the way to Albany for this experience. Act now and become a member of one of these fine wrestling organizations.
